For over 135 years The Burroughs-Ross-Colville, Company has been in the business of turning timber into lumber and various types of wood products.  Back in the early part of the century our company directed it's efforts toward manufacturing wooden spokes and other parts for buggies and wagons, oxen yoke and hickory tool handles.

We also made wooden spokes for The Ford Motor Company, but when Ford invented the steel wheel, the spoke business pretty much became a thing of the past. 

In the early 1920's the company converted to primarily manufacturing hickory striking tool handles, including hammer, axe, sledge and hatchet handles.

Today our Company manufactures Hardwood Lumber, Dimension Products, Hardwood Bark Landscape Mulch, Pallets, as well as our Hickory Striking Tool Handles.
